Ironman (or woman)

My friend over on CHITCHAT has a Poetry Friday. This week was a poetry challenge with certain parameters that had to be followed. Check out this post to find out what they were: Alphabet poem

Here was my final entry. (I revised it three times. It could do with more, I’m sure) 🙂

Every mountain peak crumbling, bowing
Forging water rushing, running
Gushing volanoes unable to contain their praise
His Glory unleashed upon the earth
and I am undone

I’m sure it can be better. But at least it got me to writing and going deeper.

I have to say that Donna K. keeps inspiring me. What is that really cool verse? As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens the wits of another. Proverbs 27:17

Critique group meetings are often that way. My Bible Study groups are, too. They make me think. They make me dig deep. They make me search out the Lord and His voice and make sure I’m hearing Him and what He’s really showing me.

There are several other blogger and facebook friends who sharpen me, too. You’ll find some of their names on the right side of my blog.

Who does God use to bring you to a deeper understanding of yourself, those around you and your cicumstances?

So, who is your “iron-man”?

Iron-Man, huh? I’d have to say my Mudskipper buddies. They challenge me to do it better – writing, that is.

    Blessings, Donna.
