Come meet new Zondervan Author, Amy Clipston!

You are invited to join the Mudskippers on January 16th for their Annual Schmooze at Panera Bread (near Concord Mills) with local author Amy Clipston!

Amy’s book, A Gift of Grace, is the first in the Kauffman Amish Bakery series and will debut in May 2009 from Zondervan publishing. Betrayed, her NASCAR romance, will debut in November with Five Star Publishers.

The meeting will start promptly at 7pm, so arrive by 6:30 if you would like to order and enjoy a meal beforehand. Come on out and bring a friend…you’ll be glad you did!

Amy Clipston is a first-time author and member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) and Romance Writers of America (RWA). She has been writing for as long as she can remember. Her fiction writing “career” began in elementary school when she and a close friend wrote and shared silly stories.

She holds a degree in communications from Virginia Wesleyan College and works full-time as a public information specialist for the City of Charlotte.

Amy is an advocate for blood and organ donation since her husband needs a second kidney transplant. If she is a match, she hopes to donate a kidney to her husband in 2009.

After living in New Jersey and Virginia, Amy now lives in Monroe, NC, with her husband, Joe; two sons, Zac and Matt; mother, Lola; and three spoiled rotten cats, Molly, Ashlee, and Jet.

  1. Yes! it is very cool beans for her! I’m so excited about meeting her!
And yes, my pic is new. The angle makes me look WAY thinner than I am, though. I’m just glad it didn’t ADD poundage! 🙂
