Praying from the inside out…

My mom sent me this link. I finally checked it out. WOWZERS. Gave me a lot to think about. If you get a chance, take a look at it…then come back and share what you think about it. If the Lord spoke anything to your spirit while you read it, I’d love to hear that, too!

I’ll share mine after I’ve heard from a few of you. I’m learning to wait my turn! 🙂

  1. Powerful stuff. Ooops! Pun not intentional.

Seriously, the Word of God is powerful, sharper than a double-edged sword, and able to separate our soul & our spirit.

    Our soul.
    Our spirit.

    Our eternal living soul.
Our emotions that enable us to have relationships.

Can we separate our feelings from the spiritual truths that live in us because we belong to Christ Jesus? Only through the power of the Word of God and the power of the Spirit of God living within us.

He can enable us to identify & control & even change our negative emotions.

    That's my take on it.

    Grace & Peace,

p.s. Did I miss your exciting conclusion to the question you posted 2 weeks ago?

  2. Yes! We tolerate a powerless existence because we don’t know how powerful we are. We don’t know our identity in Christ. My pastor is fond of saying “If you knew who you were, you’d be dangerous.” By which he means, a big blow to the devil.

  3. Forgiveness is always a good thing. I tell my kids, when you don’t forgive someone, the only person you’re punishing is yourself. People who can’t forgive, end up bitter and alone – at least emotionally.
