December 16, 2009: WUWW2I?

I’m so excited! I’ve got quite a few things to share about our Write2Ignite conference today…

1. The conference workshops are now listed on the website. Click here to read all about them.

2. Ever heard of a Garbage man Christmas? Last week, Jonathan Friesen was our guest blogger and explained to whole idea.  If you didn’t get a chance to read it, you can find it here

3. Today’s new guest post is by Cindy Jacobs. She shares some practical and helpful info on planning. I hope you’ll stop by Fire It Up! and show her some blogosphere love!

4. We’ve had several applications for scholarships, but there are several still open, but don’t wait too long to apply. Here’s the breakdown…

Adult scholarships: 8 still available      Student scholarships: 2 still available

5. Critiques are also available for an extra fee. Click here for more information.

6. Are you still looking for a Christmas gift for the writers in your life? A nice new book with a note that says, “Registration paid in full to Write2Ignite” would make a lovely stocking stuffer. 🙂

7.  February will be here before you know it. Why wait until the last minute to get register? If you want to get a jumpstart, head on over to Write2Ignite and get the registration form and instructions.

That’s all for today. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to email me or leave me a note here in the comment section. I’ll do my best to get you an answer!

    Donna,

This time of year, we think of writing resolutions or setting goals. I like the idea of writing a plan much better. It is more business-like. If we pray over our plan each day, it keeps us from breaking it as easily as a resolution also. Cindy’s post was very helpful.

Thanks for the links. I will read and study about the workshop offerings.

Thank you for the information, Donna. It would be a miracle if I can make it. But again, I believe in miracle, so who knows what might happen? 🙂

    Have a wonderful day,

Will do! Just need to figure out how I can get there, as well as hotel arrangement. It will happen if it’s meant to be. If not, I’m glad to know that conference exists… 😉
