My dad was in the Army. Several other family members and close friends have been, too. Some of my friends and family are still in the service. In honor of the sacrifices they made, I offer the following videos… and virtual kleenex.

I have still photos of my son’s return from Iraq. He came to our home and we surprised him by bringing wife & kids here secretly.

We went to Mass today. The homily was given by our new Archbishop. He spoke about goodbyes and what they mean. Beautiful. Peaceful. I love walking amongst the gravestones imagining the lives of the faithful.
